The story of Burning Table began in November 2011. After a long career in last 25 years in different projects, the band united around the core Zsolt Szabo, Levi Molnar (Survolaj) and Bogy Nagy (Crossroads), and decide to name the project Burning Table.
Knaan Shabtay doesn't like to think about what genre his music is, he just goes with the flow, and improvises, as he gets along. He started playing classical guitar when he was 12. After he got into jazz a bit, but that didn't go anywhere. About 2 years ago, he started songwriting, and upto know he still searching that specific sound in music, his style. He's had a few gigs, where he really enjoyed the crowd, and it's reaction to his music.
When Annika was a child, she watched the news and saw all those children suffering, and the only thing she knew well, was to sing. So she wanted to earn millions and millions of dollars, and give it to all those suffering children. Annika still has that good side in her, and she really wants to help out people where she can. She's still as ambitious as she was when she was younger, and that defines her, that shy redheaded girl, with her incredible music.
In the land of Bob Marley, reggae music is king of the Island. But there are a lot of artists that are trying to go the same pad. Kabaka "Pebble Rock" Pyramid, a Jamaican singer-songwriter, started writing music in Hip Hop style. Naturally he got influenced by the reggae, but Hip Hop comes more naturally.

Reluctant Dragon, referring to themselves as Ratty and the Mole, started out in an Irish pub. Claire was watching a football match, and she was screaming quite loud because they were losing. Kev didn't know where the sound came from, while he was hiding under the table. The first practices were in a basement, in between the garbage, but they started climbing up, and got to do nice gigs in pubs and bars, and on concerts. They had a 6 hour drive ahead of them, but they were in time at The Plaza Hotel Brussels, to do an interview for us.

Alexi Musnitsky was born in the USA, but nowadays lives in Paris, France. He's a pianist, and is starting to compose his own music. He started playing the piano, at the age of 4. Metal Church first popped up in 1984 and are now celebrating their 30th anniversary. Although the band had split up in 2009, they always knew they would come back together eventually. They've released their 10th album, 22nd of october 2013, and are now ready to overtake all international stages.

Jeni Wren, a soulful, jazzy singer-songwriter from Portland, United States, took the time to talk with What's your Story about her ambitions in music.
